For years, I dreamed of officially launching a photography business, but I kept postponing it. Last May, I finally decided to take the plunge. It all happened so quickly, and I fully committed to the journey. However, I faced challenges when it came to naming the business, ultimately settling on something simple: my own name.

As I’ve grown over the past 10 months, I took the time to reflect on my "Why" behind starting this business. I prayed for guidance and clarity, and I was reminded of the promise that God provides even in challenging times.

As stated in Jeremiah 17:7-9: “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

I’m excited to introduce my new business name:

Wild & Rooted Photography.

I may have a bit of a "wild" spirit in pursuing my ambitions, but I’m focused on staying "rooted" in where the Lord guides me, no longer fearing the drought as I once did.
